Drawing Within is an new online class for anyone who wants to add more creativity and growth in their life. It brings together people from a wide variety of people to learn a new habit, over the course of 21 days. By the time you're done, you'll have paused, reflected, and grown. If you don't like the habit, you don't have to keep it going, though most of our students do.
Drawing within will teach you how to look within using fundamental approaches: journaling, and sketching. A lot of people have tried journaling before, but many consider sketching to be intimidating. We'll reveal that in many ways, they're actually the same process. Anyone can touch a pencil to paper, and anyone, no matter if you consider yourself talented or not, can make process.
A Habit with Benefits
We call Drawing Within a new old habit because while it may be a new habit to you, it's actually been done by talented individuals for much of human history, including Shakespeare, Einstein and DaVinci. The process of stopping, reflecting, looking inward, can reveal all sorts of truths. We all know that we spend too much time with screens and computers. Drawing Within teaches you an alternate path — "doing something, without doing something" — once you learn the technique, you'll get better at slowing down, pausing, and understading.
How It Works
The course is taught over 21 days, and three sessions. We start with an intro, where we talk about the technique and get to meet the other students.

The classes are 1 hour long, and you should expect to spend about 20 minutes a day in practice while you learn the habit.
We'll send you inspirational quotes along the way.
In addition to learning from our teacher, Dina, you'll also get to learn and share from other students taking the class, discussing your progress, learnings and frustrations. There's more than one way to learn this process, and we'll work together to help you find the approach that works best for you.
Who is it for?
Drawing Within is an open ended class for students of all levels. Whether you've been drawing or journaling all your life, or this is new to you, this class is open to students of different ability levels. Many people find drawing to be intimidating, but even if you can only create stick figures, we can work with you. Drawing is as much about the act of observing and being present, and is a great addition to a meditation practice.
In addition to artists, the class is also well suited for writers, scientists, doctors, anyone who wants to learn and grow.
